Registration and Tuition

Registration Forms for 2011/2012 Season

Credit Card Authorization Form

Classes are based on a yearly tuition from September through the June recital. If you chose to pay the entire tuition in full by the first class in September, you will receive a 5% discount. *   

Otherwise, tuition may be broken up into 10 monthly payments, with the first payment due the first class in September  and the last payment due the first class of June. Tuition is the same regardless of how many weeks are in a month.  

Families with two or more students will receive a 10% discount.  (Discounts cannot be combined)  Payments are due on the first class of each month and will be charged a $10.00 late fee after the 15th. 

There will be no deductions for any missed classes.  Students may make a class up by attending another class of the same subject. 

All tuition and costume balances must be paid in full in order to be able to participate in the recital. 

Please make all checks payable to: Art of Dance. There will be a $25.00 fee for all returned checks.

There will be a $15.00 registration fee per student or $20.00 per family. This is due upon registration and secures a student’s spot in the class.  This fee is non-refundable.

Dress Code:

Ballet/Pointe: Solid colored body suit, pink or tan tights, optional skirt (No other clothing allowed)

Lyrical/Modern: Solid colored body suit, pink, tan or black tights skirt or dance shorts

Jazz: Solid colored body suit, tan or black tights, dance shorts or jazz pants

Tap/ Hip-Hop  Comfortable dance clothing

***Students that do not adhere to the proper dress code, will not be able to take class***

Shoes:  

Workshop I and II: Pink ballet shoes and black student tap shoes

Advanced Workshop: Pink Ballet shoes, black student tap shoes, tan slip-on Jazz shoe

Ballet: Pink split sole ballet shoes

Lyrical: foot undeez 

Jazz: Tan slip-on jazz shoe

Tap: Workshop classes: student tap shoes, ages 8-Int. Level Dolly Tap shoes, Adv. levels: Oxford shoes

Hip-Hop:  Black Jazz sneakers

Modern: Bare feet

****All tan jazz shoes must be purchased through Art of Dance to ensure proper color for recital!****

Dancers must have their hair tied back securely. 

No street clothes or loose fitting clothes will be permitted. 

All dancers must where body suits to class.  Our dress code is strictly enforced. Students will receive one reminder and then asked to sit out, if they are not appropriately dressed for class.

It is important that students attend their classes regularly.  Students who are routinely absent during recital time, will be expected to schedule private lessons to learn choreography that was missed.
